Course Title: Supporters (Pan Projects)
Course Type: Full Supporters course
Prerequisites: All candidates must be active Helpers within one of the local services listed below and will need to ask their Supervisor for a reference, so please speak to your Supervisor in advance.
Applicants must be active Helpers from the following service areas:
- Lambeth
- Wokingham
- Dorset
- Sandwell
- Haringey
- Stoke on Trent
- Isle of Wight
- Lewisham & Greenwich
- Scotland (including Ayrshire & Arran; Fife; Forth Valley; Greater Glasgow & Clyde; Midlothian; Western Isles)
Number of places available: 10
Course start date: 09/09/24 (with an intro call a week before on 02/09/24)
Course end date: Jan 2024 (Module 1) and Mar 2025 (full course)
Day and time of sessions: Two groups will be training – please indicate in your application form which of these you wish to apply for :
- Mondays 10am-12noon (9/9/24 to March 2025)
- Wednesdays 6:30pm-8:30pm (04/09/24 to end March 2025 with a break over Christmas holiday period)

Duration: All Zoom sessions as noted above. There will be work to complete and group discussion in the weeks between Zoom sessions on the BfN training site. There are 13 assignments in total.

DBS/PVG required: Yes (BfN will arrange this at no cost to volunteers)
