**Introducing the New Breastfeeding Peer Support Service in Enfield**
We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new Breastfeeding Peer Support Service in Enfield, commissioned by Enfield Council. This initiative is designed to provide essential support to new parents as they navigate their breastfeeding journey.
The Breastfeeding Peer Support Service, alongside the Health Visiting weighing clinic, will connect mothers with trained peer supporters who have firsthand experience. These supporters will offer guidance, encouragement, and practical assistance to help parents overcome challenges and build confidence in their breastfeeding experience.
We will be working closely with the local hospital North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, Enfield’s Health visiting team, Family Hubs, and Children’s Centres.
Tuesdays 09:30am – 11:30am – Ponders End Youth and Family Hub, 141 South Street Ponders End, Enfield, EN3 4PX.
Wednesdays 09:30am-11:30am – Craig Park Youth and Family Hub, 2 Lawrence Road, Baxter Road, Edmonton, N18 2HN.
Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where families can receive the support they need to thrive. This service aims to empower parents with the knowledge and resources to make informed choices about breastfeeding.
We invite everyone in the community to take advantage of this valuable resource.
Together, we can support the health and well-being of families in Enfield!
