Course information:
The “Group Host” course is a prerequisite for the Helper course. The Group Host course is split into two parts as follows:
- An online course that you work through at your own pace, completing quizzes as you go. We expect the online part to take up to 3 hours.
- We will ask you to attend at least one face-to-face session at a local group of your choice to shadow the volunteers there.

Trainees are welcome to bring their children to training sessions. No childcare is available.
