| Are you passionate about breastfeeding? Would you like to support families in your community? The Haringey Peer Support Service are always looking for parents to join our friendly team and volunteer with us. We offer a free, 12 week, OCN accredited course for local breastfeeding parents to train as peer supporters. Venue is in the east of the borough, fully accessible and with good connections to public transport. As a council commissioned peer supporter course, priority will be given to Haringey residents during the selection process who feel able to commit to volunteering. As such, we will require two references in order to apply for a DBS for candidates as the course begins. It is also a priority that our peer supporter team represents all communities that exist in Haringey, and so we are asking all applicants to advise of their ethnicity and details on languages spoken, if they are willing |
