Birmingham City Council have awarded The Breastfeeding Network charity funds to provide free, non-judgemental, evidence-based information to all Birmingham families.
Our friendly peer support team can help with establishing and continuing breastfeeding, chest feeding, expressing, bottle feeding, weaning from breastfeeding and introducing solids. All Birmingham families are welcome to access our service. We will support you in your feeding choices. Whatever your question, or if you just want to chat to someone please get in touch.
Type of services available
- Virtual and face to face antenatal workshops
- 1:1 Telephone/video support
- Free, face-to-face drop in breastfeeding support groups
- Virtual drop-in groups on Zoom
- Walking groups/Social events
Groups
- Monday – Wychall Children’s Centre drop in support group 1pm – 2:30pm
- Tuesday – 30-minute 1-to-1 virtual slots available to book between 1pm – 2:30pm
- Wednesday – Kitts Green Children’s Centre drop in support group – 10am – 11:30am
- Thursday – 30-minute 1-to-1 virtual slots available to book between 10am – 11:30am
- Friday – Foxhollies Children’s Centre drop in support group – 10am – 11:30am
- Friday – Ladywood Children’s Centre drop in support group – 12:30pm – 2pm
- Saturday – Virtual support group 10am – 11:30am
- Sunday – Monthly Sunday Social wellbeing walk and support group at Kings Heath Park
